Attorney at Law
Philip S. Reutlinger has been in practice for more than 10 years. His practice focuses on insurance defense including workers’ compensation, subrogation, and employment law.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Reutlinger served as a Defense Attorney within the Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps, representing active duty sailors and Marines in military courts-martial and Physical Evaluation Boards (disability hearings) throughout the northeastern United States. Mr. Reutlinger also served within the Office of the Secretary of the Navy as counsel for the Navy’s Physical Evaluation Board. Mr. Reutlinger’s tours also include serving as the Staff Judge Advocate for the Commanding Officer of the Naval Submarine Support Center in New London and as an appellate government attorney defending court-martial convictions before federal appeals courts.
Mr. Reutlinger left active duty in 2014, and began his civil trial practice with a prominent Denver insurance defense firm. Additionally, Mr. Reutlinger continues to serve in the Navy Reserve where he holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In this capacity, Mr. Reutlinger represents the Navy in administrative separation boards, courts-martial, and Boards of Inquiry. He also advises service members on veterans’ benefits, civil and consumer law issues and he provides estate planning services.
